Bečov nad Teplou

Bečov was founded in the 13th century. The castle was founded around the same time. The chateau part of the premises was created in the 18^th century.

One of the guided tours features a unique Reliquary of the St. Maurus, which is the second largest Czech jewellery collection immediately after the crown jewels. In addition to the reliquary you can also see the beautiful 19^th century interiors in the chateau. Undoubtedly the castle garden and several other attractions in the town are worth seeing also.

You can also get there by a historic bus from Karlovy Vary, which goes to Bečov every Saturday during the sightseeing tours.
