SOCHI Express in Hotel Imperial

The 22^nd Winter Olympics will open on Friday, 7 February 2014 in the Russian Sochi. Hotel Imperial has prepared an unforgettable experience for all winter sports fans – the SOCHI Express. Right here in Karlovy Vary you will have a unique opportunity to transfer yourself to the centre of the Olympic action in the Russian Sochi and you will feel like VIP guests. Hotel Imperial, with the help of a contemporary self-supporting construction, has transformed the comfortable environment of the concert hall into a deluxe VIP zone, called quite suitably the SOCHI Express. The facility features the most state-of-the art LED wall in the Czech Republic, large-size TV screens, comfortable sofas, small tables as well as a bar. The walls are lit by light panels decorated with winter sports motifs and there will be dummies dressed in original sports outfits in the room. Another large-size projection screen is placed across from the staffed refreshments bar. The spacious bar offers the regular assortment of drinks of Hotel Imperial as well as special cocktails: the alcoholic Sochi Royal and alcohol-free Sochi Virgine.

The SOCHI Express is accessible only with a VIP wrist-band, as is the rule in all VIP zones of prestigious events. The wrist-band can be purchased for EUR 50 at the Hotel Imperial’s reception. The SOCHI Express launches on Friday 7 February 2014 at 5.00 p.m. when it will present the live broadcast of the festive opening ceremony from the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi.

Ninety eight sets of medals will be awarded during the Winter Olympics which you can watch in the SOCHI Express from Friday 7 February through Sunday 23 February, with 94 nations striving to achieve the best results and records. The SOCHI Express will be open every day from 6 a.m. until the end of the TV broadcasts. The closing ceremony of the Olympics, on 23February 2014 from 5 p.m., will also close this unique project of Karlovy Vary’s Hotel Imperial, the original SOCHI Express.
