Porcelain Festival 2013 Karlovy Vary

In cooperation with Grandhotel Pupp, the joint-stock company Thun 1794 a.s. is organizing already the 18th year of the Porcelain Festival in Karlovy Vary. The spring Porcelain Fair has become a traditional part of the program marking the opening of the spa season in Karlovy Vary. This year’s Porcelain Festival will be held under the auspices of the Mayor of Karlovy Vary, Mr. Petr Kulhánek.

The Porcelain Festival will take place on the 3rd and 4th of May 2013 in the open space in front of Grandhotel Pupp. Visitors will be able to purchase porcelain at discount prices on Friday, 3rd May 2013, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm and on Saturday, 4th May 2013, from 9.00 am until 5.00 pm at 24 stands. The 24 stands will offer Thun 1794 brand porcelain at special prices, as well as products of other porcelain and glass factories, e.g. Czech Porcelain Dubí, Epiag Lofida – Chodov Factory, Moser Glass Manufacture, Rudolf Kämpf Porcelain Factory. An accompanying program will be prepared for the visitors, including live music, a special program for children, or refreshment kiosks. In the Rendez-Vous of Grandhotel Pupp, an exhibition of table setting trends will be open to visitors, which will also feature the latest products of Thun 1794 a.s.

The event is sponsored by the Czech Tourist Authority – Czech Tourism within the “Kudy z nudy” (Escape from Boredom) project, ČEZ Group, and Jungheinrich CZ. We cordially invite all inhabitants and visitors of our spa town to this traditional event.
