Opening of the spa season

It is an important annual event during which the Karlovy Vary spa season is officially inaugurated. Not missing is the parade led by the founder of the town, the King Charles IV riding a horse, as well as the blessing of the mineral springs.

During the opening weekend, you can visit the crafts market, various concerts and other cultural performances and social events. The festivities take place in many parts of the spa: TGM Avenue, the area in front of the main post office and the Hotel Thermal, the Mill Colonnade, Little Versailles, the Grandhotel Pupp and other places.
