Before World War I when Karlovy Vary was in its heyday, horse races used to be organized in Dvory. The horse races were not only a dramatic sports event featuring a display of beautiful horses, but also a great social happening. Ladies would put in a spectacular appearance in gowns that were often complemented with original hats. Gentlemen tried their betting luck and encouraged their favorites.

Today, the horse races also carry a specific atmosphere. Come and join it at the Karlovy Vary horse race track. The premises can be reached by car or by public transportation buses No. 1, 9 and 10. Moreover, you can ride them too.
