The time of Easter, the most important Christian holiday of the year, has come. Easter fall on the Sunday following the first spring full moon. This year's Easter Monday will be celebrated on 1 April 2013. Come to Karlovy Vary to enjoy the wonderful scent of spring.

Easter Markets

The Karlovy Vary traditional March Easter markets will run daily from Saturday, 23 March 2013 up until 2 April 2013 on the T. G. Masaryk Avenue. Accompanying the markets with their performances will be children from the Karlovy Vary nursery and primary schools. Besides them, the Skejušan Folklore Ensemble, Orbis Pictus Choir, Dyleň Ensemble of Dances and Songs, MK Collective of Milan Krajíc and the Musical Theatre of Libor Balák will perform on the stage. Booth sale will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Karlovy Vary
1 April, Monday, 7 p.m.

SOPRANO&OBOE&ORGAN, an Easter concert, organized by the Statutory City of Karlovy Vary in cooperation with the Phantasy Art s.r.o. agency under the project called "Open Gates of Historic Monuments". It is a nationwide event held by the Association of Historical Monuments of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. Admission is free.
