Azra Presented a Luxury Ulysse Nardin Watch to Jiří Bartoška

The President of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Jiří Bartoška, accepted a Ulysse Nardin luxury Swiss watch from Azra Luxury Watches & Jewellery in Karlovy Vary. Despite his busy itinerary during the festival week, Jiří Bartoška found time for a little pleasure.

The men’s watch model from the new Maxi Marine Chronometer Manufacture collection was presented to the KVIFF President in person by the CEO of Ulysse Nardin, Patrik Hoffmann. The actual handover of the Ulysse Nardin luxury Swiss chronometer took place at the Azra – Ulysse Nardin boutique in the spa centre of Karlovy Vary.

At the Ulysse Nardin boutique in Stará louka in Karlovy Vary, Azra offers luxury timepieces made by the prestigious Swiss watch manufacturer. At present, it is the largest Ulysse Nardin boutique in Europe.

Founded in 1846, the Ulysse Nardin manufacture d'horlogerie is known not only as a manufacturer of premium quality watches, but also for its innovative processes and for making use of untraditional materials, including palladium and silicon. The design of Ulysse Nardin timepieces combines the pragmatic shape of the first marine chronometers with the decorativeness of the mysterious Orient and South Asia.

A day earlier, Jiří Bartoška opened the 49^th year of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the presence of many well-known personages from the Czech Republic and abroad. During the opening ceremony, Oscar winning Hollywood actor, director, and producer Mel Gibson accepted the Crystal Globe for Outstanding Artistic Contribution to World Cinema.
