Horse racing and equestrian sports

Horse racing in Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary) has its tradition since the end of the 19^th century. The race track in Karlovy Vary – Dvory was and still is a popular meeting place for the local residents and the spa guests whenever there are some horse races going on. The Karlovy Vary racetrack is the place for the annual meetings of the European nobility.

Karlovy Vary and its immediate vicinity is the home to several equestrian clubs, which offer horseback riding, horse stabling and other services.
