Three Crosses
The crosses were erected on the hill above Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary) as a symbol of successful recatholization of the town and its surrounding area after the year 1620. But the legend says that the crosses symbolize the death of three brothers who died by a violent death.
Take the public transport bus No. 2, 8, 11, or 13 and get off at the Panorama bus stop. Continue walking for about 100 meters and when you reach the U Tří křížů Street, walk towards the Panorama bower and after that go to the Turgenev trail. Turn left at the first crossroad after the bower and then walk to the connection to the Gogol trail (approx. 400 meters) and then turn right. The road around the Three Crosses Chalet will take you all the way to the Three Crosses. The trip going there and back measures a little over 2 km. If you are going to continue on the Gogol trail, you will arrive at the Goethe‘s Lookout.
Come to Karlovy Vary for treatment and discover the healing power of thermal springs.
